Starpolar is built so your private life stays yours. Here is exactly where everything goes — plain language, no surprises.
Your daily life stays on your phone. Nothing leaves unless you explicitly turn on sync.
FileSync is off by default. When enabled, data travels encrypted over HTTPS and is stored encrypted in Firebase Firestore. You can disable sync or delete your data at any time from within the app.
You decide when to sync. You can delete everything at any time. When you use the AI Assistant, your text or voice input is sent to the assistant backend and processed with OpenAI. Your request is interpreted using the context you provide. Your full database is never included.
Only what you type. Your database never leaves your device.Even with sync enabled, none of your personal data is ever used for advertising, profiling, or training AI models.
About crash & debug reports: These are only sent if you have opted in to sharing analytics in the app settings. You can opt out again at any time. Reports contain only the affected code location, stack trace, app version, and OS version. No user data, no names, no identifiers.
Every sensitive feature in Starpolar is opt-in. You decide what the app can and cannot do.
